Whoa, I need to do somethin' about my family! Um, okay, here we go.

Yeah, my family's a long, convoluted story. And I've gotta make this REEEEEAL quicklike. So yeah.

I grew up with my mom and step-dad - I only met my real dad once, when I was 6 months old, and he wouldn't even touch me or hold me or admit that I was his (despite countless tests PROVING it). Then we found out, when I was in middle school, that my step-dad was cheating on my mom (not to mention cheating on THAT woman with ANOTHER ONE), at which point he moved out, making it just Mom and myself. That is, until she died of cancer my freshman year in high school, after which my step-dad (who had stayed in my life throughout the whole ordeal) adopted me, thus I was stuck with him and my Wicked B**** Of The Midwest step-mother.

Thank god I had my brother (actually my step-brother - he's my step-dad's son) to keep me sane through these rough times. Yeah, we're actually step-siblings, but he's ALWAYS treated me like we were bound by blood, and when his dad adopted me, that just made it legal/official. He has always been the one thing I could count on when everything else came crumbling down around me (well, the last year and a half was a rough one for us, but we're working through it), and I would take a bullet for him, no question.

Maybe I'll expand on this later on, but for right now, I just need to get SOMETHING up. Later, muh'fuggas!
